The Legion's Gold: A Fistful of Lead: Horse & Musket AAR

Maximillian's latest levy of taxes is sitting unguarded in the small Mexican town of San Miguel. The French Foreign Legion is closing in along with a group of Republican troops and few banditos supported by Confederate deserters. The stage is set for a blood bath.
The legionnaires took up position on the rooftops and soon had hail of bullets clearing the any open part of the streets.
Meanwhile, the banditos and Republican troops took pot shots at each other.

How many Legionnaires can hide behind one cacti?

After a few turns of shooting and laboriously reloading, both sides decided only cold steel could settle this. The next few turns were full of sword and bayonet duels and the streets, predictably ran red.
The Legion held onto their gold.

The cat is legion!

Fun report. I could almost picture Clint Eastwood (from his spaghetti western days) strolling through town; but I guess he was off somewhere blowing up a railway bridge this time).
