Meat was back on the menu last night. The Nevereverlanders took the #1 spot in the standings (Only because the Maulers sat out this time). They beat the out-classed One-Eyed Jacks in a game that saw lots of Dirty Tricks. The Jacks almost had a TD overturned because of it!

Four games at once

Uller's Uglies just could not keep up with the fleet feet of the Skavens. The Fury Rodents lost their Rat Ogre early in the game again, due to Dirty Tricks.
The No-Name Nasties and Kleavers fought a brutal battle on the pitch, with Karlsborg pullling off a stunning TD in the last minutes, but not enough to win.

There may be a new team taking the pitch late in the season. The Amazons take the field, perhaps filling the spot taken by the "No Show" Orcs.

the Fury Rodents

That's right, "Fury" not "Furry". I painted up a few additions to my son's Blood Bowl team. Elvis is the name he gave the Rat Ogre. And, since his Gutter Runner earned the "spikes" mutation, I added some to the figure via some tooth picks. Sorry the two headed guy in the foreground is blurry, but I don't have the money for a decent camera.

Last night saw the One-Eyed Jacks finally get a win. This time over the Skaven Fury Rodents. The game was sadly thin on the casualties, but oh, well. On the other end of the table, Uller's Uglies were completely mauled by the Nevereverlanders. New standings:

Blood Bowl League update

Last night's Thursday game was part of the Blood Bowl League. The Maulers (my team) were handed their first defeat of the season by an 8-year-old (my son). Not just any defeat but a 3-0 loss involving most of the Maulers dead or injured thanks to a pitch invasion.
On the other field, the No-Name Nasties finally got their head wrapped around the game and beat the the One-Eyed-jacks 3-1. To be fair to the Jacks, they were down a few men and lost the use of their star player before the game started to a Dirty Trick.
