Supers!

 Apologies for letting the blog slide. Surgery, a convetion and starting a new job kinda took over posting. I've been playing, just not posting. Most of my work goes up on the Wiley Games Facebook page or Discord channel.

 

Last night we dusted off an old favorite. Superheroes! 

Eggstreminator stalks the shadows look for prey....

One-Eyed Jack takes to the skies to get in position for an aerial assault.

A.J.A.X. responds and gets blasted for it.

She Wolf goes toe to toe with Hero Sanwich!

Hero Sandwich gets assistance from Black Gold who traps She Wolf in an oil slick.

The Flea and Awesome spot Eggsterminator hiding in an alley and attack.

But, a Kat-jui attack on Super City forced an end to the game. The Baddies had beat up more heroes than they did in return. Villain victory!

Wiley Wargame Weekend

 

Amazing Wiley Wargame Weekend full of great games and people. Thanks to everyone who drove miles and miles to put on games.

Terror Island: I played the nefarious Nemo. My crabmen and minions were soundly defeated by a gaggle of dogs and kids. Crazy factions from all over time, adventurers, villains and scientists. Thanks to Steve for all the miniatures and cards and running it.

 

Then it was What a Tanker where I somehow fared even worse. My Jadgpanzer was knocked out turn 2 before he got a shot off. Thanks to Chris Arnold for putting it on. 

 

Meanwhile, James was putting on a Weird West game with haunted scarecrows, mutant chickens and animated pitchforks.

 

Next was Warmaster where I commanded the forces of Chaos. We actually won! Thanks to Joel for running it. 

 

Ken Boone (Lead Addict)ran a test game of his home brewed “CHALLENGE!” game while I played a WW2 North Africa game. Tiny tanks in the deserts. A sound defeat for my British tanks. Thanks to Cluckey (CluckAmok) for running it. 

 

We finished off the evening with a game of Adrenaline put on by Ryan Johnson.

Lots fun, lots of bourbon.

Battles and Brews 2022

 This past weekend we had the great pleasure of hosting a wargaming event, Battles and Brews, to raise money for our Spring convention: March to Victory.

We had wargamers from 6 different states putting on games Friday and Saturday in our local brewery.
