Pulp Alley Leader- Pecos Pete

Yes, that star of Radio and the new Talkies, Pecos Pete. Using his status as movie star and hero to millions of children, Pete, along with the Giddy Up Gang, can get into places others can't.
That's right, Pete is actually a spy. And, with his Network of Supporters, the brave Pecos Pete can get the job done. Thank goodness he's on our side.

Waiting on one more figure to flesh out the Giddy Up Gang in true Hollywood fashion.

Great brushmanhip. Love the basing, may I ask how you do it and the colours you use?

Basing or the mini?

Basing please.

I'll have to wait til I get home to look at exact colors, but for the basing I use Liquitex texture gel Resin Sand. It's non colored, so save a step, I mix in a medium brown and then glunk it around the figure;s base. Then just dry brush a color that matches your table coering. I do another dry brush of lighter shade. I just use those cheap paints from your favorite big craft stores (Jo-Ann's or Hobby lobby).
Once dried I flock and those grass clumps.

Thanks for that, the colour reference would be great. Do you glue grit on top of the resin sand?

That's the best part. Gritis already in it. By adding brown to the mix, I just saved two steps.

He looks great, love the big cow print chaps and the stars on the gloves. Great backstory too.
