I had my first in-person game in a year. What a blast!
The game was a show case of how you can bits and parts from our different books to make the game you want.
The scenario: Deposits of rare Eternium have been found in the Valley of the Titans. He-Man and his arch nemesis Skeletor arrive at the same time to dig up some of the mineral. He-Man to use to power a dying city, keletor to build a super weapon.
Orko was the first casualty, victim of TriClops eye ray. Meanwhile Evil-Lynn used her dark sorcery to teleport to a ridge to where a deposit was spotted.
Man-at-Arms found some and quickly took it off the table. This left forces of Good outnumbered 7 to 5. But luckily, a Joker was played and He-Man got reinforcements in the form of Zodak, who appeared behind the baddies and ended TriClops sniping.
Stratos took to the sky and pushed Evil-Lynn off the ridge, but was himself too much of target for the baddies to pass up. He too would fall.
Meanwhile, He-Man, being the brave soul that he is, charged up the center to find a deposit of Eternium. But being in the middle made him the target of a lot of attacks.
Teela spent most of the game gagging and choking on Stinkor's stink cloud, trying to bring him to battle.
Heroes were falling left and right. In the end the Baddies won, escaping with enough Eternium to do god's know what. (That's next episode).
I forget to take pics, but luckily, the whole game can be seen here!
Shout out to Steve for his expertly painted minis.
