The Basement Generals tried out Mutants & Deathray Guns from Ganesha Games. Gotta, say, it was fun. I made some cards for each figure rather than roster sheets. Pictured here is an old Necromunda figured painted orange. ViolA! a mutant leader!
Forget the mini, what a brilliant and effective play card you have created for him!
I have to ask, though, how did MDRG's model activation rules work out? I have the rules and the method they use for initiative/activation has always sat a little funny with me.
We have played twice now, both times the game was surprising and fast-paced. This past Thursday was a five player game and it too was a blast. Great rule set for quick and dirty skirmishes. My two cents

Worked great. You have to balance how important, and who you move versus the chance of losing initiative. We played a 4 way game too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reply. I have yet to get a chance to play it.

ReplyDeleteI was considering putting together MDRG cards also, but yours are much prettier than what I was considering. Well done.
